Northwest Hills Renovation/Addition

Pollen was invited to renovate and add onto an existing mid-century ranch house in Austin’s Northwest Hills neighborhood. The proposed renovation opens up the existing floor plan and updates the front  ‘modern/colonial’ look of the house with steel columns and planters.  The party’s in the back in this one;—the house reads like a stoic single story ranch from the street but has a dramatically sloped yard in the back, filled with oaks.  A tall addition at the rear gives space for a generous master bedroom and an upstairs perch with amazing views of the trees and the lake.
