Ted has been living in Austin Texas since 1996.  Born and raised in New Jersey he also lived in Virginia and New York City on his way to Austin.  He received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech in 1988, worked for 8 years in New York, then went on to a Master’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin in 1998. While in New York he gained experience in a variety of firms large and small on projects ranging from a small café in Rockefeller Center to retail shops located nationwide to a new state courthouse in Stamford, Connecticut. In Austin Ted has developed an expertise in residential design, working for Paul Lamb Architects, Mell Lawrence Architects and independently. His work has been published in Architectural Digest, Elle Décor and Lux magazine. He enjoys family time, the arts, adventuring on his bike and sometimes doing absolutely nothing.
