Project Manager, Pollen Architecture & Design
John is a native Mississippian who brings a maker/doer attitude to his design work. Skilled in fabrication, as well as design, he has the ability to execute the details. John has worked with Pollen since 2009 and has been instrumental in projects including the Balcones House and St. Edward’s Chapel. John draws inspiration from fabrication and material exploration and believes architects should challenge everyday notions about the built environment.
He has collaborated with other like-minded firms including Design Build Adventure, Thoughtbarn and Davey Mceathron Architecture. He received his BArch from Mississippi State University and interned with The Center for Maximum Potential Building Systems. John recently took an extended trek around Southeast Asia and New Zealand, and in his free time, he plays shortstop with the Texas Playboys Baseball Club.
